Ashanti proved she’s ready to return to the gym “by any means necessary” after giving birth to her first baby in July.
The new mom multitasked by pumping breast milk while working out on an elliptical machine in videos shared to her Instagram Story on Tuesday.
“So, it just got real,” Ashanti said to the camera while showing the portable breast pumps in her blue sports bra. “I gotta finish before I get on the StairMaster.”
Although the “Rock Wit U” singer, 43, said she was planning to finish pumping before continuing her workout, she ultimately decided to do both at the same time.
“F it… ima just keep em on,” she captioned a second workout video, saying, “OK… by any means necessary.”
A third clip showed Ashanti in the zone on the elliptical as she continued to pump her newborn’s breast milk. “Let’s go,” she captioned the post with a flexed bicep emoji.
The “Foolish” songstress eventually ditched her portable breast pumps to do core exercises on a yoga mat.
Her ab routine included dead bugs and reverse crunches with a foam roller between her knees.
At the end of her workout, Ashanti posed for a proud mirror selfie, which she captioned “Kk’s mama.”
The Grammy winner welcomed her first child, Kareem Kenkaide Haynes, with rapper Nelly in July after the pair rekindled their relationship last year.
Ashanti previously dated the “Hot in Herre” hitmaker, 49, on and off for 10 years before they called it quits in 2013.
The couple confirmed the arrival of their son in August, with the R&B singer telling “Entertainment Tonight” at the time that Nelly “named him with a lot of pride.”
The name Kenkaide is in honor of Ashanti’s father, while Kareem means generous, kind and dignified.
The “Baby” songstress also got candid her journey to motherhood in an Instagram post on Aug. 21.
“Funny how life’s plans aren’t…always on time.. lol,” she captioned a postpartum selfie, while referencing her hit song “Always on Time” with Ja Rule.
“I’ve been waiting to be a mom for a long time now but nothing could prepare me for EVERYTHING motherhood brings!” she continued, adding, “I’m so proud of my body for giving me my baby, baby, baby, baby, boy.”
