I was just thinking to myself the other day, “Hasn’t it been a while since Chlöe Bailey switched up her hair?” Granted, “a while” in Chlöe Bailey World is, like, two months—she loves a good dramatic change in color, style, or both—but still. We got to admire her long, bronde locs and twists nearly all summer long, but to kick off a new month, she served up a look we’ve never seen from the singer before.
On October 1, Bailey was honored by Glamour UK as the musician recipient of its Women of the Year Awards, attending the ceremony in a gorgeous, red Robert Wun gown with an astonishing train and matching opera gloves. And, fittingly, Bailey matched the drama of her ensemble with an equally spectacular hairstyle.
Piled atop Bailey’s head like a fluffy, fabulous cloud was a gravity-defying beehive made up of voluminous, softly teased swoops of hair. You’ve heard the nursery rhyme, “There once was a curl with a curl right in the middle of her forehead…”? I’m not saying it’s about Bailey, but it absolutely could be with the centered, loose little loop dipping down in front.
