As a result of the monumental moment, the young actors built a strong bond with one another.
“After the two episodes, Candace and I became friends,” Scott shared. “We were talking on the phone and giggling and laughing and having fun. I remember the last thing that she and I said to each other was, ‘We’ll see you at the wrap party.’”
But it seems Scott’s first-kiss nerves only surfaced after his appearance on the show, saying he “choked” when he saw Candace at the wrap party.
“I literally froze, and I could not go over there and even say hi to her,” he admitted. “I haven’t choked like that ever, before or since. So, I have no idea what hit me, but I just went, ‘Oh my god!’ It totally should not have been a big deal. But, for whatever reason, I just went, ‘Oh, boy.’”
While Jodie and Andrea assured him that Candace remembers him fondly, Scott added, “I haven’t said hi to her since.”
