The nominees for the 2025 Costume Designers Guild Awards have been revealed.
In the contemporary film category, the nominees are Challengers, Conclave, Emilia Pérez, The Fall Guy and The Substance.
In the period film category nominees are The Book of Clarence, Gladiator II, Maria, Nosferatu and Saturday Night.
And in the sci-fi/fantasy film categories, the nominees are Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Borderlands, Dune: Part Two, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga and Wicked.
In the TV categories — also divided among contemporary, period and sci-fi/fantasy — notable series nominated include Agatha All Along, Baby Reindeer, Emily in Paris, The Gentlemen, Hacks, Bridgerton, Feud, Palm Royale, Ripley, Shogun, Dune: Prophecy, Fallout, House of the Dragon, Lord of the Rings, The Masked Singer and Saturday Night Live.
Agatha All Along landed three nods, for excellence in contemporary television and sci-fi/fantasy television and costume illustration. The Masked Singer and Shogun received two nominations apiece, also getting a nod in the costume illustration category, where Joker: Folie à Deux received its only nomination from the guild.
Winners will be revealed at the 27th Costume Designers Guild Awards, set for Feb. 6, 2025 at The Ebell of Los Angeles.
