Mother Monster is back.

Lady Gaga’s forthcoming single, “Disease,” is a “return to form” for the pop star, a music insider teases to Page Six exclusively.

“It’s sonically reminiscent of her ‘Born This Way’ album. Think dark dance-pop,” the source tells us, referencing Gaga’s Grammy-nominated 2011 record that featured hits including its title track, “The Edge of Glory,” “Marry the Night” and “Bloody Mary.”

We also hear that the “Disease” music video is “meticulously choreographed” in the same vein as 2009’s “Bad Romance” and 2011’s “Judas.”

The US Sun previously reported that Gaga, 38, had tapped Emmy-winning choreographer Parris Goebel, who worked on Rihanna’s 2023 Super Bowl halftime show as well as Justin Bieber’s 2015 music videos for “What Do You Mean?” and “Sorry.”

Gaga’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

“Disease,” which hits streaming services Friday, is Gaga’s first pop single in years.

Following the release of her 2020 album, “Chromatica,” the singer recorded two jazz records: “Love for Sale,” which reunited her with Tony Bennett in 2021 as a follow-up to 2014’s “Cheek to Cheek,” and “Harlequin,” which she dropped last month as a companion to her film “Joker: Folie à Deux.”

Gaga has also dabbled in soft rock, singing the Oscar-nominated “Top Gun: Maverick” theme song “Hold My Hand” in 2022, collaborating with the Rolling Stones on “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” last year and duetting with Bruno Mars on “Die with a Smile” this summer.

The “A Star Is Born” actress — whose seventh album is slated to drop in February — recently shared that her fiancé, Michael Polansky, inspired her to return to the genre that made her a global superstar in 2008.

“Michael is the person who told me to make a new pop record. He was like, ‘Babe. I love you. You need to make pop music,’” she told Vogue for her October cover story.

Polansky, who co-wrote songs on “Harlequin,” explained, “Like anyone would do for the person they love, I encouraged her to lean in to the joy of it. On the ‘Chromatica’ tour [in 2022], I saw a fire in her; I wanted to help her keep that alive all the time and just start making music that made her happy.”
