Brady Corbet gave a heartfelt shout-out to Aubrey Plaza and her late husband, Jeff Baena, at the 2025 Golden Globes.

After nabbing the award for best director Sunday night, the filmmaker took the stage and delivered an emotional speech.

“Finally, tonight my heart is with Aubrey Plaza and Jeff’s family,” Corbet, who won for his work on “The Brutalist,” said before exiting the stage.

As Page Six previously reported, Baena died by suicide Friday morning. He was 47.

An assistant found the film director dead inside his Los Angeles home. Police responded to a call around 10:30 a.m. local time and Baena was pronounced dead at the scene.

The “Life After Beth” director and Plaza, 40, spontaneously tied the knot in 2020.

In May 2021, the “Parks & Rec” alum revealed via Instagram that she and Baena secretly said “I do.” At the time, she congratulated him on his comedy “Spin Me Round” and referred to him as her “darling husband” in an Instagram post.

Plaza later shared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” that the nuptials resulted from getting “a little bored one night” while quarantining during the COVID-19 pandemic.

She said she told Baena the day of their wedding, “Hey, it’s our 10-year anniversary, we should do something. Get an ice cream cone or do something special” and “joked about getting married.”

The “White Lotus” star then found a website that helps couples quickly obtain marriage licenses.

The actress has yet to speak out publicly about her husband’s passing. However, her rep released a statement to Deadline over the weekend that read, “The family is devastated and asks for privacy at this difficult time.”

Baena was also known for “Joshy,” “Horse Girl” and co-writing “I Heart Huckabees.”
