In a season that’s seen everyone from Jennifer Lopez to Mariah Carey, Lauren Sánchez, and Heidi Klum hit Aspen’s slopes, shops, and après-ski scene, Bella Hadid and her boyfriend Adan Banuelos have dropped in to bring the yeehaw to the celebrity-favored festive destination.
The couple were spotted just prior to New Year’s Eve, leaving Nobu’s Colorado outpost sushi restaurant Matsuhisa after a cozy dinner. Hadid wore a red and brown fur-trimmed Penny Lane-esque coat, with a navy bodycon mini-dress, barely black sheer tights, and vintage patchwork, dark red knee-high boots. The supermodel layered three gold necklaces: one plain chain, one a string of medallions that recalls a cowboy belt, and a bigger pendant. She also wore gold hoops, and her hair pulled back in a tight ponytail. A brown slouchy bag with a cow print strap dangled from her arm.
Banuelos kept up his usual aesthetic, tweaked just for the colder temperatures: a navy baseball cap and plaid brown and navy shacket, blue jeans, and blue cowboy boots.
Hadid ended 2024 on a jubilant note that’s deserving of a big yeehaw: in December, she announced she had been awarded Rookie of the Year by the National Cutting Horse Association. In an Instagram post about her win, she thanked Banuelos: “Adan always had faith in me, from the first day we rode together, which gave me confidence and faith in myself again.” And later that month, Hadid had a cameo in Yellowstone, playing cowgirl Sadie and even wearing pieces from her own wardrobe for the role. The rest of December was spent in New York promoting Ôrebella, and dressing accordingly.
