Bella Hadid’s New Bangs Are Very Much Giving Cher in the 1960s—See the Video

Sometimes you just gotta answer the siren song of bangs. When you get the idea in your head to get a fringe, the only way to scratch that itch is to pick up the scissors—or the phone, to call your stylist—and cut ‘em. Bella Hadid would probably agree, as the model just debuted a new set of bangs reminiscent of one very iconic musician.

Hadid, who is currently in Dubai promoting the jewelry company Chopard, is now the proud owner of some truly incredible fringe—and they look a lot like the ones Cher rocked in the earliest days of her career in the ‘60s. Hadid’s bangs, styled by Syd Hayes, hit an inch or so below her brows and nearly brush her eyelids. They’re not a thick, straight-across bang or a flirty, Sabrina Carpenter-style curtain bang, but a mix of the two, with a lighter, feathery approach in the center of her forehead for texture and movement. The rest of Hadid’s hair was styled simply, with the espresso brunette lengths flowing down her shoulders in subtle bends. TBD on whether the bangs are real or clip-ins, but either way, they’re a brilliant way to change up your look without cutting length.

Makeup artist Nadia applied lots of black liner on Hadid’s upper and lower lashlines and paired it with a shimmery shadow brushed across her lids, plus a glossy, pinkish-brown lip.
