Bill Belichick had a big catch on Halloween.
The former New England Patriots head coach and his much-younger girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, revealed their mermaid and fisherman couple’s costume on Halloween Thursday as they got into the holiday festivities.
“Ouucchhhh!!! 🪝,” Hudson, 24, cheekily captioned photos of her 72-year-old boyfriend pretending to hook her with a fishing line on the beach.
In the snapshots, Belichick wore a black-and-yellow puffer jacket with jeans and rain boots. He also added a straw hat and a fake pipe accessory.
He playfully pretended to catch Hudson as she was playfully sprawled on the shore.
The former competitive cheerleader pulled out all the stops with her mermaid costume, which included a metallic orange tail and a pearl-embellished seashell bra.
Hudson’s followers took to the comments section to share their reactions to the “creative” couple’s costume.
“Bill pulls,” one person quipped, while another user joked, “What a catch! 😂😂 🔥🔥.”
A third commented Belichick looked like George Clooney’s character “Captain Billy Tyne, from the perfect storm! 😂.”
Despite the praise, some didn’t approve, with one person writing, “Omg Bill needs a new coaching job 🙄.” Another added, “wtf is this bill.”
Belichick and Hudson reportedly quietly began dating in 2022.
Their relationship began after the former NFL coach split from his ex-girlfriend Linda Holliday.
The couple, who has a nearly 50-year age gap — reportedly met on a flight in 2021 when he autographed her textbook.
