Grown Alchemist Hydra-Restore Day Cream Is My Busy Morning Go To—Review

[ad_1]

There are times where I love luxuriating in skin care, but more often than not, my mornings are a rush of making school lunches, finding socks, and chugging coffee in between getting kids dressed. On days like those, it’s a lot easier for me to remember to moisturize if my moisturizer is sitting next to my sink—and fortunately, Grown Alchemist Hydra-Restore Day Cream has chic minimalist packaging that looks excellent on my countertop. The light moisturizer inside feels even better than it looks. “It’s super lightweight, blends and sinks into skin quickly, and doesn’t leave a tacky or sticky finish,” agrees Allure’s Sarah Kinonen. It’s so elegant, after you’re done rubbing it in, you’d barely know it was on—except that it leaves skin softer and more hydrated, thanks to ingredients like grape seed and jojoba seed oils. I like to smooth a little over my skin in the morning, and—if I have time to layer—it’snice to know that it layers well, like over serum and under sunscreen.

Grown Alchemist Hydra-Restore Day Cream is a part of our Allure Beauty Box product lineup for December. Subscribe to Allure Beauty Box and get editor-approved picks in makeup, skincare, hair care, and fragrance delivered right to your door every month.
