Halle Bailey Is a Dead Ringer for Halle Berry in Her Bond-Girl Pixie Cut — See Photos

[ad_1]

Few movie moments cement a star’s everlasting hotness like the moment when Halle Berry emerges from the sea in an orange bikini in the 2002 James Bond movie Die Another Day. From that point on, pretty much no one was allowed to wear an orange bikini ever again because orange bikinis belonged to Berry. But now, 22 years later, Halle Bailey is honoring her first-name twin with a truly respectable Halloween costume of Giacinta “Jinx” Johnson, complete with iconic pixie cut.

Bailey posted a carousel of pictures by photographer Dalvin Adams in which she is absolutely nailing Berry’s Bond girl look. In them, she’s donning a lookalike orange two-piece—a less wet version—and white tactical belt. But what really seals the deal on making this costume one for the books is the pixie cut.

Berry famously wore her hair very short for years, and Bailey famously has very long locs, but she managed to all of her hair under that teeny-weeny wig—despite some commenters accusing her of using AI or Photoshop to achieve the look. In fact, she even disputed the accusation in her Instagram Stories with a boomerang selfie, writing “lot it wasn’t ai the wig really fit 🤣🎃 i couldn’t believe it either lol shoutout to my girls @sparkyourhair @beautybychrisc & @nickyygood,” referring to her hairstylist, Tinisha Meeks, makeup artist, Christiana Cassell, and stylist, Nichole Goodman.
