Joanna “JoJo” Levesque’s must-read books include a mix of fiction and nonfiction — and a BookTok darling.

The “Leave (Get Out)” singer recently released her own memoir, “Over the Influence,” which details her rise to stardom at 12 years old and where she’s been since stepping back from the spotlight.

“Amid all the self-doubt and questioning, my story is worth sharing and here’s what I know: I’ve never been good at playing the game, but I’m great at telling the truth,” she writes.

“It’s time to stop letting anyone or anything else write the narrative for me. This is my story. In my own words. Let’s f—king do this.”

Below, the six books that helped and inspired Levesque throughout her life.

"The Untethered Soul: The Journey Beyond Yourself" by Michael A Singer

“When I started this one year ago it came highly recommended by a friend, but I still would never have suspected I’d love it so much. Wild rock ‘n’ roll stories, a throughline of addiction and valuable insight into an underrated musical pioneer.”
