Congratulations are in order for Naomi Biden, who announced her pregnancy on Tuesday.
The granddaughter of President Joe Biden took to her Instagram Story on Election Day to debut her baby bump and reveal she voted in the 2024 presidential election.
She captioned the cute photo, “(we) voted,” with an American flag emoji and an upside-down smiley face emoji.
Naomi — who is the daughter of President Biden’s son Hunter Biden and his ex-wife, Katherine Buhle — is expecting her first child with her husband of two years, Peter George Heermann Neal.
Naomi, 30, and Neal tied the knot in November 2022 during a private ceremony held on the South Lawn of the White House.
The wedding marked the first for a presidential family member at the White House since the Clinton administration.
Both of Naomi’s parents were present for the nuptials along with the president and first lady Jill Biden.
“It has been a joy to watch Naomi grow, discover who she is, and carve out such an incredible life for herself,” Joe and Jill told the New York Times in a statement at the time.
“Now, we are filled with pride to see her choose Peter as her husband and we’re honored to welcome him to our family. We wish them days full of laughter and a love that grows deeper with every passing year.”
The couple announced their engagement in September 2021.
Naomi and Neal met in New York in 2018 after being set up on a date by a friend.
Naomi is the eldest of President Biden’s seven grandchildren. His son Hunter is also father to daughters Finnegan and Maisy with ex-wife Buhle.
Hunter, 54, also shares daughter Navy Roberts with Lunden Roberts, plus son Beau Biden with his second wife, Melissa Cohen.
President Biden, 81, is also grandfather to Natalie Biden and Robert Hunter Biden II, whose parents are the late Beau Biden and Hallie Biden.
