Nehera Fall 2025 Menswear Collection

What a difference six months make. When Nehera launched menswear last season it was as if the team had created a dream boyfriend for their existing female customer. In fact, model couples were featured in the lookbook. Fall 2025 takes things in a more nuanced direction, and one that differentiates it from the ready-to-wear line.

That’s not to say that the collection doesn’t read Nehera; the ease and functionality, the softness and attention to detail, are all there. But there’s a touch of gorpcore and sprinkling of fun that feels new. Take the opening look: The eye is drawn first to the novelty Fair Isle sweater featuring bands of sheep and bears, which is paired with jeans featuring an interesting curved cut and side pleat and a rust-brown coat with a ’70s vibe. An unexpected touch is the addition of what CEO Ladislav Zdút described as monk-like skirts. Smart-looking windbreakers with triplet pockets are enticing, and while there is some pinstriped tailoring, a more formal herringbone coat with a double collar and another A-line topper with wide band of faux fur at the hem, the mood is more slacker than formal or C-suite. Likewise, the model looks natural in the clothes, rather than dandified.

That’s notable because the team’s starting point was the flâneur—a man who walks the streets observing everything around him—a concept, and type, associated with the 19th century dandy and poet Charles Baudelaire. The flâneur is often depicted as a man of means and leisure; the Nehera fellow’s casual style suggests he’s a bit more down-to-earth and operating at a 21st century pace.

The idea of taking in the environment is carried over to the brand’s new store, in its hometown of Bratislava. (There is another shop in Vienna.) The flow of the Danube, which flows not far from the new address, is projected onto screen-like walls, blurring the boundary between inside and outside and symbolizing forward movement. Walk on.
