Sean “Diddy” Combs’ attorney gave some insight into the rapper’s food struggles behind bars after his sex trafficking arrest.
“I think the food’s probably the roughest part of it,” Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, told reporters outside of a federal courthouse in Manhattan on Thursday, People reported.
Diddy — who has been locked up in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center after being denied bail — allegedly starts his day at 6 a.m. with a breakfast consisting of cereal, fruit and a breakfast cake, according to the outlet.
Lunch is reportedly served at 11 a.m. and consists of main courses like hamburgers, baked fish or beef tacos and on weekends they can opt for scrambled eggs and biscuits.
Inmates then eat dinner after the 4 p.m. headcount with meals like chicken fajitas, pasta and roast beef, or “heart healthy” and vegetarian options like lentils, tofu and baked beans.
The Post also reported that Diddy is served three meals a day that are delivered to his cell and he dined on Swedish meatballs following his arraignment. He had the option for a black bean burger and could also choose a side of egg noodles, green beans, a garden salad with dressing and a 16 oz. beverage.
As for the rest of his federal jail experience, The Post reported that Diddy is only allowed one hour of daily recreation and three showers a week.
Thursday marked the Bad Boy Records producer’s first court appearance since his arrest, during which his trial date was set for May 5, 2025.
During the appearance, Combs, 54, was joined by his mother, Janice Combs, 84, and six of his seven children: son Quincy Brown, 33, son Justin Combs, 30, son Christian “King” Combs, 26, daughter Chance Combs, 18, and twin daughters Jessie and D’Lila Combs, 17.
Combs was arrested by Homeland Security Investigations at a New York City hotel last month.
He was charged with racketeering conspiracy; sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution. The “I’ll Be Missing You” artist pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The music mogul’s fall from grace unfolded in November 2023 after his ex-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura filed a lawsuit accusing him of raping, sex trafficking and physically abusing her throughout their 10-year relationship
He settled the suit the next day and denied any wrongdoing at the time, however, a video of him brutally beating Ventura, 38, at a hotel in 2016 surfaced online in May — forcing him to issue a public apology.
Combs, known for throwing star-studded parties, is facing an onslaught of abuse and rape accusations following his arrest.
