Selena Gomez Puts a Bow On Red Carpet Dressing

[ad_1]

Selena Gomez has been on a never-ending promotional circuit as of late. Between The Emmys, Only Murders in the Building, and her latest film, Emilia Pérez, the actor’s calendar has remained full over the last couple of months. With all of her engagements—plus more than two decades of professional experience—it should come as no surprise that Gomez has red carpet dressing down to a science.

While we usually see the Rare Beauty entrepreneur in a curve-hugging black dress (and often a halter at that), Gomez opted for a totally different approach for the Emilia Pérez gala screening at the 2024 London Film Festival. Hitting the carpet alongside her co-stars Zoe Saldaña, Karla Sofïa Gascón, and Adriana Paz, she traded in her LBD for a cherry red boatneck gown. The dress’s waist was cinched with a dramatic tie detail, connecting the form-fitting bodice to the grand skirt, which flared out around her.

Gomez leaned into the grandeur of the look with her accessories. On her chest sat a diamond-encrusted necklace. She tied her hair up into a sleek ponytail to show off her earrings, marked by dangling pear-shaped diamonds that matched her necklace’s pendant.

While she looks undeniably gorgeous in her go-to black bodycon dresses (she and stylist Erin Walsh have really found their groove together), it’s always nice to see Selena Gomez step out of her comfort zone. Indeed, the risk paid off: she looked red hot!
