Selena Gomez Went Extra Long and Extra Blonde for Her Halloween Costume—See the Photos

Selena Gomez fell down the rabbit hole! The actor and Rare Beauty founder channeled one of literature and film’s most iconic blondes for her Halloween costume, swapping her dark hair in favor of a light and bright near-platinum to pay homage to Alice in Wonderland.

Gomez and her boyfriend, producer Benny Blanco, chose a classic couples’ costume for their weekend celebration, with Gomez looking prim and proper in a blonde wig and dusty blue Rodarte gown to play the role of Alice. (Blanco was the Mad Hatter, complete with a red wig.) The actor gave the traditional Alice costume a high-fashion twist, both via her glam and her gown. Her hair was a pale, buttery color a few shades lighter than the one worn by the animated Alice in the 1951 Disney film, and Gomez wore it styled in loose waves down her shoulders, just brushing the top of her pale blue dress. Because Alice needs a headband or hair bow, Gomez popped the Jennifer Behr Rochel Headband in black velvet atop her head. It’s Alice, but if she shopped at Bergdorf Goodman.
