Every once in a while, Tom Holland will search for his girlfriend Zendaya on the web.
And the actor shared a personal reason for why he looks up what’s being posted about the fellow Spider-Man alum.
“The last thing I Googled was actually ‘Zendaya,'” Tom said on the Oct. 31 episode of the On the Menu podcast. “It’s more of a bit of an anxiety thing, but I’ll check to see that everything’s good and just make sure we’re all cool. So I just give her a little Google, look to the news, I’m like, ‘She’s good. Fine.'”
The 28-year-old has showcased his offscreen role as protective boyfriend before. Last week, Tom came to Zendaya’s rescue after she found herself swarmed by fans and paparazzi as he and the Dune actress, also 28, exited a car together in New York City.
An online video showed the two holding hands before they got split up and Zendaya found herself getting circled by photographers snapping pictures and fans asking for autographs. Her boyfriend then quickly jumped in to save her from the crowd, saying, “No, no, no” before protectively taking her hand.
